Our friend from France, Delphine Duguet, will soon arrive in Nepal to participate in a trekking and cultural discovery program. Her stay is scheduled from October 15 to 30, 2023. The program will begin with an unforgettable week of trekking to Annapurna Base Camp, one of Nepal's most iconic and spectacular trekking routes. This journey will offer Delphine the opportunity to discover majestic Himalayan landscapes, pass through traditional Gurung villages, and enjoy breathtaking views of the snow-capped peaks. After the mountaineering, she will head to Pokhara, a charming town on the shores of Lake Phewa, where she can relax and explore the many local attractions, such as Devi's Falls, Gupteshwor Cave, and Sarangkot Hill to admire the sunrise over Annapurna. Next, an immersion in nature awaits her at Chitwan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This jungle stay will allow her to observe a rich fauna, including rhinoceroses, crocodiles, elephants, and, with a little luck, the Bengal tiger. Activities will include a jeep safari, a canoe ride, and cultural encounters with the Tharu ethnic group. Finally, her trip will conclude with a discovery of the Kathmandu Valley, a true living museum, where she will visit major historical and spiritual sites such as the Swayambhunath and Boudhanath stupas, the royal city of Bhaktapur, and the Pashupatinath temple. This stay promises to be an experience rich in emotions, adventures, and cultural discoveries.
